Birdpie stores all of the URLs (Web Links) you have entered on Twitter as bookmarks, so you can refer to them at a later date.
For example when I tweet a URL on twitter such as: "check out http://www.dynamic50.com", this will be added as a bookmark in Birdpie which you can place in a category if you wish to.
Birdpie intelligently converts minified URLS to long URLs and also pulls information from the URL to auto-create tags and a proper title for the link, so you don't have to!
If one of your tweets links to a broken page not to worry, this won't appear in your bookmarks! Deadlinks and links to 404 pages are automatically discarded.
We follow the twitter security model. If your twitter is public, your bookmarks on Birdpie will also be publicly accessible. If your Twitter account is protected, your Birdpie bookmarks will also be protected and will be visible only by the account owner.
Bookmarks are updated depending on load between every couple of minutes to every couple of hours. If you find a bookmark you have tweeted has not appeared, please be patient, it will get there!

Birdpie is powered by Ruby on Rails (3.0.pre) and uses Redis+Resque for background processing.
In addition, Birdpie uses many HTML5 elements and CSS3 styles for its presentation and markup.
